Dube says she and Mafela spent a great deal of time together in the weeks leading up to his untimely death.

Mafela had just returned from a cruise with his wife the day before his passing, Dube revealed.

She reflected on his sense of humour, humility, generous spirit and the adventures she experienced with him.

He was just so giving, and never expecting anything in return.
