ANCYL in KZN hold presser in response to court ruling

There are a number of questions about the future of the African National Congress (ANC) leadership in KwaZulu-Natal. A disgruntled faction won their case to have the 2015 leadership congress declared null and void.

The African National Congress Youth League in KZN, as well as the ANC Women's League, gathered on Wednesday to convene a way forward and addressed the media.

The ANCYL said this isn't about the conference but is rather an attempt to destabilise regions and the KZN province towards the elective conference in December.

In 2015, former chair Senzo Mchunu was forced to resign after losing the ANC’s provincial leadership race to Sihle Zikalala.
