Outgoing ANC Youth League leaders pat themselves on the back

The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) will be electing new leaders in the next few months.

The incumbent leadership with Collin Maine at the helm was elected in 2015.

ANCYL Secretary-General Njabulo Nzuza says as the leadership they are very happy that when they came into power, they said they must have a National Youth Development Agency (NYDA).

That is decentralised into all offices across all municipalities. And over the past couple of years, we have ensured that we have more reliable cadres whose activism is impressive.

He adds that they are very happy that they have championed the issue of expropriation of land without compensation to the level that it has become a resolution of the ANC.
